Development potential of our technology

Bristol Channel development strategy

Development of the Bristol Channel site will take place in phases.
Phase 1 - construction and installation of a 1 MW prototype turbine.
Phase 2 - grid connection of three additional turbines at Aberthaw to achieve positive cash flow.
Phase 3 - expansion of the array, with potential for 1,500 turbines in three to six lines.
